So is the receipt the same thing as proof of insurance?<\/p>\n<p>No.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As funny as that seems, the receipt is not the same thing as proof of insurance. It&#8217;s simply a confirmation page and after we have received your payment, you will be redirected to a new page that has both your proof of insurance &#8212; which will be a binder until it gets updated into the system &#8212; and also a receipt as a confirmation that you purchased a policy.
