That is a fabulous question. I get that all the time. When does my insurance start?<\/p>\n<p>Well, your coverage begins right when you receive valid proof of insurance. You can access this online anytime or just give your Peachstate agent a call and they can provide you with a binder, or something because it does take a little while for the state to receive validation that you have insurance. It takes about 24-to-48 hours for them to receive that and they can then update it in their system, at which point they will be able to see it. But before then, they won&#8217;t be able to see it. So if you&#8217;re going to register your car or vehicle at the DMV, you want to go ahead and bring a binder in with you. If not, we can fax one to you or email you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I hope that answers your question, Margarita.
