Is a Receipt the Same Thing as Proof of Insurance?

Hey there, Ian. So is the receipt the same thing as proof of insurance?

No. 

As funny as that seems, the receipt is not the same thing as proof of insurance. It’s simply a confirmation page and after we have received your payment, you will be redirected to a new page that has both your proof of insurance — which will be a binder until it gets updated into the system — and also a receipt as a confirmation that you purchased a policy. You also receive that from one of your Peachstate agents, or you can give us a call and we can give you your policy number and any other information that you need…
